Maya Angelou April 4, 1928 – May 28, 2014


The Mamie Doud Eisenhower Public Library would like to remember Maya Angelou, an American author, playwright, actor, activist, and much, much more. This morning, Dr. Angelou completed her remarkable journey here on earth. She will forever be remembered for her strength, her ability to weave words into beautiful and profound stories, and her gift of bringing people together. Stop by and check out some of her work.
